These publications made contributions to the field of stability analysis of nonlinear dynamical systems:
(a) established global asymptotic stability results for dynamical systems with saturation-type nonlinearities and established results for
the absence of limit cycles in digital filters employing generalized overflow arithmetic;
(b) established necessary and sufficient conditions under which positive semi-definite matrices can be used to construct
Lyapunov functions for dynamical systems with saturation-type nonlinearities;
(c) established global asymptotic stability results for two-dimensional digital filters (described by Roesser model and by Fornasini-Marchesini
model) employing generalized overflow arithmetic;
(d) established global asymptotic stability results for dynamical systems with partial state saturation nonlinearities;
and (e) established necessary and sufficient conditions for the robust absolute stability of nonlinear dynamical systems with time-varying
nonlinearities.
