Derong Liu's Top 10 Publications on Analysis and Synthesis of Recurrent Neural Networks

These publications made contributions to the field of qualitative analysis and synthesis of recurrent neural networks: (a) established qualitative analysis results for recurrent neural networks including cellular neural networks; (b) established conditions under which there exist solutions of recurrent neural networks with arbitrarily sparse interconnection and established conditions under which such solutions are robust with respect to parameter perturbations; (c) developed systematic synthesis procedures for recurrent neural networks with arbitrarily sparse interconnection when applied to associative memories and algorithms for increasing the robustness of the synthesized recurrent neural networks; (d) developed systematic synthesis procedures for cloning template of cellular neural networks with applications to associative memories.
